Blake Shelton : World Ag Expo
Blake Shelton will headline the World Ag Expo Concert Series on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Tulare, CA. The concert is a fundraiser for several organizations that include California agriculture as part of their core mission, explained Stacey Beachy, Director of Corporate Partnerships for the International Agri-Center. “The goal of the event is to further the message of California agriculture and its multi-billion-dollar contribution to the state’s economy. Family owned farms and ranches, across the state, are economic engines for most small to medium sized communities. By supporting our farmers and ranchers we keep thousands of other support jobs going strong.”
The International Agri-Center’s mission from inception has been to support agriculture through education, by linking buyer and seller, and by sharing important agricultural information,” Beachy added. “Now we can support agriculture and agriculture families through great country music!” The World Ag Expo Concert Series kicks off February 8 as the largest annual farm equipment show welcomes Blake Shelton. Tickets are $40, $60 and $80 each. The second night of the World Ag Expo Concert Series (February 9) is a fund-raiser for the agriculture program at the new College of the Sequoias campus in Tulare and will feature Grammy nominee David Nail & Stealing Angels.
