If you caught Jenna Paulette's powerful performance at the recent Heartland event in Iowa (we did!), you know the rising country star is all about momentum. The Texas cowgirl and Leo33 artist has been riding a wave of success, and she's not slowing down. Just in time for fall, she's celebrating the release of her new single, "Steady," and the one-year anniversary of her popular CowboyGirl women's range wear collection.

A Song Inspired by an Unexpected Moment

Jenna Paulette's music is known for its authentic, ranch-life storytelling, and "Steady" is a perfect example. The song was born from a simple observation while working cattle with her husband, Ross.

"I looked over at him, his handle on his horse looked so light and good, and I thought, 'he holds my hand like he holds the reins…steady,'" Paulette recalls. "I put that into my phone and ended up talking about the idea with Rhett Akins and Will Bundy on a writers retreat."

The song, which was originally a slower, more deliberate track, took on a new life with an uptempo arrangement and soaring steel guitar. It's a testament to the quiet strength and dependable nature of a steadfast partner.

You can listen to "Steady" below and on all streaming platforms.

A Fall Line for Mothers and Daughters

Paulette is also celebrating the one-year anniversary of her popular CowboyGirl women’s range wear collection, a partnership with Ely Cattleman. The fall line, available on September 15, builds on the collection's focus on functional fit with fresh, seasonal colors and classic tone-on-tone styles.

The new drop also introduces the Little CowboyGirl collection, a "mommy down" style so mothers and daughters can match—a perfect addition for a musician who is now balancing her career with the joys of motherhood.

Reflecting on this busy new chapter, Paulette shares, "I feel like I'm getting into the groove of motherhood while being a touring musician, things are picking up in all aspects of my life. It’s feeling more like a moving train that I'm riding. It's picking up speed—I’m excited for the momentum of it all, with the way the music and Cowboygirl work together.”

Paulette's authenticity has made her a force in country music, earning her spots as a CMT Next Women of Country honoree and an Apple Music’s Country Riser. With new music and her growing fashion line, she's proving she's charting her own path, one steady step at a time.
