ACountry salutes Kenny Chesney and Costa Sunglasses for their support of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA).  Kenny and Amanda Perryman from Costa Sunglasses presented a check for $50,000 to Pat Murray to benefit the Coastal Conservation Association. These funds were raised through sales of the Kenny Chesney Limited Edition Costa Sunglasses throughout Kenny’s Goin’ Coastal 2011 tour.

The five handcrafted Kenny Chesney Limited Edition Costa sunglasses were sold throughout the tour and feature Chesney’s signature and unique hand-drawn artwork etched into each frame style, illustrating some of his favorite song lyrics and past tours.

“The relationship with Costa, and what they stand for, goes hand in hand with the music that I make,” Chesney said when the line was launched.  “It’s important for all generations to be able to enjoy the ocean like I did, and I’m proud to partner with Costa to design a line of signature sunglasses that will help support ocean conservation.”

Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) is a non-profit organization comprised of 17 coastal state chapters spanning the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic seaboard and the Pacific Northwest. CCA’s strength is drawn from the tens of thousands of recreational saltwater anglers who make up its membership. From South Texas to the upper reaches of Maine, CCA’s grassroots influence is felt through state capitals, U.S. Congress and, most importantly, in the conservation and restoration of our coastal marine resources.  For more information, visit www.joincca.org.

Costa was founded in 1983 when a group of hardcore fishermen who spent their days exploring the globe and battling extreme elements came to realize that the sunglasses they were relying on weren’t as hardcore as their adventures. Seeing the world in absolute clarity and protecting their eyes was a must. So when they couldn’t find worthy sunglasses, they decide to build their own. Costa’s mission is to create the clearest sunglasses on the planet for life’s great adventures.  Check out the full line of Costa sunglasses, apparel, and accessories at costadelmar.com.
