Road To The CMA Festival Tour

As fans make preparations to journey to Nashville this summer for the CMA Music Festival, fans in 10 cities get the treat of having the music journey to them. Leading up to the big event, Crisco Presents the Road To CMA Music Festival, visiting 10 Wal-Mart stores in April with stops in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Orlando, Raleigh, San Antonio, Tampa, and Tulsa. In each city, two to three Country Music artists will perform in the Wal-Mart parking lot before meeting the fans and signing autographs – a hallmark of CMA Music Festival since it began in 1972 as Fan Fair. “Thousands of fans travel from all 50 states and more than 20 countries to Nashville for CMA Music Festival each year,” said Tammy Genovese, CMA Chief Operating Officer. “With ‘The Road to CMA Music Festival,’ we are taking some of our brightest stars directly to the fans so they can experience for themselves the powerful relationship between our fans, the artists and the music. And of course, we want them to join us in Nashville in June to experience the Festival on a large scale, too.”

Tour performers include Jason Aldean, Steve Azar, Jeff Bates, Blue County, John Corbett, Emerson Drive, Jace Everett, Jamey Johnson, Lila McCann, Jamie O’Neal, Danielle Peck, Julie Roberts, Ray Scott and Mark Wills.

The pre-event activities will begin at 4:00 PM with the concerts beginning at 7:00 PM. Artists are subject to change.
