ARF 2007 Celebrity Pet Calendar

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood

Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and Kenny Rogers are among the featured entertainers and all-star athletes featured in Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation’s (ARF) 2007 Celebrity Pet Calendar. Funds raised from calendar sales will be utilized by ARF to save the lives of loving dogs and cats that have run out of time at public shelters. ARF, which was co-founded by La Russa and his wife, Elaine, in 1990, provides the care and attention the animals need, including spay or neuter surgery, until ARF finds them a new home. ARF 2007 Celebrity Pet Calendar

This beautiful 12 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ calendar is jam-packed with full color photographs of some of your favorite stars with their dogs and cats and features members of the Oakland Raiderettes; St. Louis Cardinals’ talented infielder, David Eckstein; NASCAR racing sensation, Greg Biffle; recently inducted NFL Hall of Famer, John Madden; country singing sensations Trisha Yearwood with Garth Brooks, and Kenny Rogers; Academy Award best actor nominee, Billy Bob Thornton; Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland; supermodel Rebecca Romijn; and actresses Fran Drescher and Shelley Morrison.

Celebrities have appeared in the calendar at the request of La Russa in support of building healthy relationships between people and animals. In an effort to support ARF and keep “Incredible Dogs” healthy, Nestle Purina PetCare Company is once again sponsoring ARF’s Celebrity Pet Calendar.

ARF’s 2007 Celebrity Pet Calendar is available now for $15 at ARF’s website and makes a perfect gift for family and friends.

ARF’s People Connect programs strengthen the human animal bond for the elderly; residents of assisted living centers, teens at juvenile hall, high school students, grade school students and young children through programs that are national models of excellence. ARF programs allow people to experience the unconditional love and acceptance of dogs and cats. People rescuing animals…Animals rescuing people…(TM).
