Get ready, Red Dirt fans! The historic reunion is happening again. Cross Canadian Ragweed and Turnpike Troubadours are bringing their massive The Boys From Oklahoma concert back to Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

The first time these two bands shared a stage, it was nothing short of a phenomenon. The four sold-out shows this past spring brought over 200,000 fans to Stillwater, making it one of the most historic events the town has ever seen. The atmosphere was a “monumental lovefest,” as the bands themselves put it, with fans pouring in from all over the country and the world.
This time, Round 2 promises to be just as big. The lineup includes not just the two headliners, but also The Great Divide, Wyatt Flores, and Shane Smith & The Saints. With an additional 100,000-plus fans left without tickets the first time around, this is your chance to be a part of history.
The Return to Stillwater
For the band members, stepping back on stage together felt like no time had passed. Drummer Randy Ragsdale described it as “like wearing an old pair of shoes,” while bassist Jeremy Plato said it “brought back that old time feelin’.” The band was blown away by the response. “I had no idea we could do this,” said Cody Canada, still in shock from the support.
The first run was such a massive success that it inspired Stillwater’s mayor to declare Red Dirt Music Week (April 7-13). The event embodies the very heart of Red Dirt music culture—it’s all about sharing the music, the stage, and the love with the fans who made it all possible.
And if you were worried about the crowds, the bands have a story for you. Despite the huge number of people, not a single fight broke out. As Kevin Plato put it, “There was no time for fighting, people were too busy having fun. It was the most Oklahoma concert ever.”
For drummer Randy Ragsdale, the reunion is deeply personal, serving as a way to honor his son’s memory. For the rest of the band, it’s a humbling, dream-come-true experience. “I’m more than grateful,” said Grady Cross. Cody Canada feels a special connection to Stillwater, the town that gave him his start.
