Brad Paisley’s This Is Country Music video is the title track from his upcoming album set for release April 19, 2011. Written by Brad Paisley and Chris DuBois, This Is Country Music was performed live at the 2010 CMA Awards in Nashville.
After being named Entertainer of the Year, Brad discussed the song with the media backstage in the press room. “When I get ready to record an album, I start thinking about what I want to say (that) I haven’t said. When you get to be buddies with Keith Urban and great friends with Carrie Underwood, and then friends with Jimmy Dickens and Bill Anderson and that generation of country music stars … well, I’ve been lucky enough to get to know all of them. That’s my inspiration. This tune is my love song to my fans, who live all our songs every day, and to this industry, which produces this music that does become the soundtrack to people’s lives.”
