Television provided a new twist to Clint Black’s 2006 radio tour as KNIX and Phoenix television station KTVK 3TV joined forces in promoting Clint’s newest CD, Drinkin’ Songs & Other Logic, on Thursday, January 26. Lucky KNIX winners enjoyed a “coffee break with Clint Black” in the Good Morning Arizona studio at 3TV. The winners had the unique opportunity to witness live radio and live television at the same time. Clint’s performance and interview with Good Morning Arizona host Tara Hitchcock was carried live on both KNIX and 3TV. Clint Black and Tim & Willy

Clint Black : Drinkin' Songs & Other Logic

Drinkin’ Songs & Other Logic features all new music written by Clint Black – a 12-song collection that has the flavor and flair of the music Black grew up listening to.

“I went out and bought all the music I grew up on that I didn’t already have and spent three months listening to only that,” Black said. “Only stuff from before I started making records, so it was pre-1989 Waylon, Willie, Buck Owens, Haggard, Don Williams, Jim Croce. And what I discovered was a simplicity in song that I had moved away from. It was quite an emotional journey, because these were all songs that moved me and inspired me to do what I’ve been doing ever since.”
