The wait is finally over, Houston! RODEO HOUSTON has officially pulled back the curtain on its 2026 entertainer lineup, and it is shaping up to be one of the most diverse and high-energy rosters in the history of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
From March 2 through March 22, NRG Stadium will transform into a global stage featuring a blend of country legends, chart-topping pop stars, and the hottest breakout acts in the industry today.

A Mix of Legends and Fresh Faces
This year’s schedule is a masterclass in variety. President and CEO Chris Boleman noted that the 2026 lineup is a “reflection of both our Western roots and the vibrant footprint of the Houston community.”
The Debut Class:
An incredible nine artists will be making their RODEO HOUSTON star stage debut this year. Keep an eye out for:
- The Country Stars: Megan Moroney, Russell Dickerson, and Koe Wetzel.
- The Rule-Breakers: Shaboozey and Red Clay Strays.
- The Icons: Lizzo, Pepe Aguilar, Creed, and Forrest Frank.
The Long-Awaited Returns:
Nostalgia is hitting NRG Stadium hard this year. For the first time in roughly two decades, we are welcoming back Dwight Yoakam (first time since 2004), Kelly Clarkson (2004), and the legendary Cross Canadian Ragweed (2006).
Of course, it wouldn’t be the Rodeo without the heavy hitters. Luke Bryan returns for his 13th performance, and Tim McGraw is back for his 11th.
Key Highlights & Special Nights
- Go Tejano Day: Presented by Fiesta Mart, the day will feature the legendary Pepe Aguilar, taking the stage immediately following the Go Tejano Mariachi Invitational Championship.
- Leading Ladies: The 2026 lineup features four powerhouse female vocalists: Lizzo, Megan Moroney, Kelly Clarkson, and reigning favorite Lainey Wilson.
- The Times Square Takeover: Did you catch the news early? Russell Dickerson shocked fans with a surprise pop-up performance in the middle of Times Square on Jan. 7 to announce his spot on the roster.
The Big Finale: Cody Johnson & Friends
Closing out the 21-day run on Sunday, March 22, is Texas’s own Cody Johnson. This will be a special “concert-only” performance, meaning there is no rodeo scheduled beforehand. Joining CoJo for this epic finale are Jon Pardi and Randy Houser.
While there’s no dirt flying in the arena that day, the rest of the grounds—the carnival, livestock shows, shopping, and food—will be wide open for one last day of fun!
Tickets are expected to move fast! Make sure you’re ready to grab yours and join us at NRG Park this March.
