Written by Taylor, the video was co-directed by Taylor and Roman White. “I was reflecting back on a boy I liked at a certain time,” Taylor told Rolling Stone. “The song is about what it would be like if I actually let my guard down.” Mine is nominated for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year at the 2011 CMT Music Awards.
