Sugarland, the platinum-selling contemporary country act, began as a trio of songwriters from the Atlanta area, each of whom had enjoyed some level of renown as a solo country artist. Lead singer and songwriter Jennifer Nettles had previously fronted Soul Miner’s Daughter, and her gospel background and deep soul approach to country music made her an ideal frontperson for the trio.
Sugarland’s In The Hands of The Fans Tour will rely solely on YOUR requests to determine the set list played in your city.
“This year’s tour is based around the concept of putting the show into the hands of the fans,” Jennifer Nettles siad. “THEY will make the requests that will help form the set list and guide the show. Through texts, handwritten signs, the Internet (Twitter, Facebook, etc) phone calls made during the show and selections directly from the stage, the fans will become the conductors as well as the audience. If it’s on one of our records or if we’ve played it on a stage it is fair game.”

From the North:
Take I-95 South to Okeechobbee Blvd.
Take Okeechobee Blvd west to Sansbury’s Way.
Turn left onto Sansbury’s Way. Take Sansbury’s
Way to Process Drive and make a right.
The amphitheatre will be on the left.
From the South:
Take I-95 North to Southern Blvd.
Take Southern Blvd west to Fairgrounds Road
and make a right at Gate 12. The amphitheatre
will be on the left.
From Florida’s Turnpike:
Take the Turnpike north to Southern Blvd (Exit 97).
Take Southern Blvd west to Sansbury’s Way. turn right
onto Sansbury’s Way. The amphitheatre will be on the left.
From the East:
Take Southern Blvd west to Sansbury’s Way.
Take Southern Blvd west to Fairgrounds Road and make a right.
