Taylor Swift’s The Story Of Us video was directed by Noble Jones and filmed at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Written by Taylor Swift, The Song Of Us video features a book in the library called “The Story of Us” and is told by Taylor while she’s standing between bookshelves and sitting on a desk with flashbacks of her and her ex. They face each other and try to say how the other feels, but end up walking away. The video ends with Taylor closing the book. “The Story of Us is about running into someone I had been in a relationship with at an awards show, and we were seated a few seats away from each other,” Taylor told USA Today. “I just wanted to say to him, ‘Is this killing you? Because it’s killing me.’ But I didn’t. Because I couldn’t.
