The record books aren’t just being rewritten. They’re being completely overhauled.
In a historic sweep, Morgan Wallen has officially become the highest-certified Country artist of all time. With a staggering 265.5 million certified units across his albums and singles, Wallen has surpassed every legend that came before him to claim the throne.
But he isn’t just winning in Nashville; he’s dominating the global stage. Wallen now sits as the 3rd most-certified artist across all genres, trailing only industry titans Drake and Taylor Swift.
The Numbers Behind the Name
It has been a whirlwind seven years since Wallen received his first Gold certifications for “The Way I Talk” and “Up Down.” Today, the scale of his success is almost hard to wrap your head around:
239.5 Million certified singles.
26 Million certified albums.
5 Diamond-Certified Singles: Including “Last Night,” “Wasted On You,” “Whiskey Glasses,” “Chasin’ You,” and his Diplo collaboration, “Heartless.”
13x Platinum: The current status of the fan-favorite “Whiskey Glasses.”
“Morgan Wallen’s rise has been nothing short of remarkable… he has officially become the highest RIAA certified Country artist… the sheer volume of streams behind this achievement speaks to how actively audiences continue to show up.” — Mitch Glazier, RIAA Chairman & CEO
A 2025 Victory Lap
While 2025 has been a massive year for music, it belonged to Morgan. His fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, didn’t just meet expectations, it shattered them.
Released in May 2025, the project was named Apple Music’s No. 1 album worldwide and Spotify’s No. 1 album in the U.S. Just seven months later, it is already 4x Platinum, with 22 of its 37 tracks reaching Gold status or higher. Even more impressively, every single song on his previous albums If I Know Me and Dangerous: The Double Album is now officially RIAA certified.
Looking Ahead: The “Still The Problem” Tour 2026
Wallen isn’t slowing down to celebrate. He recently announced his 2026 Still The Problem Tour, a 12-city, 23-date stadium run kicking off in April.
The tour will feature a heavy-hitting rotating lineup including Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley, and Thomas Rhett. True to his roots, the tour will also stop at iconic college football venues like Michigan Stadium and Alabama’s Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Music with a Mission
Perhaps the most impactful part of Wallen’s success is what happens off-stage. A portion of every ticket sold goes to the Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF). To date, the foundation has distributed over $5 million, including $600,000 worth of instruments to schools in need during 2025 alone.
As Morgan Wallen sets his sights on 2026, he does so not just as a country star, but as a global phenomenon who has redefined what “success” looks like in the modern music era.
