Directions To Matthew Knight Arena

From I-5 North (Portland, Salem)

Take exit 194B to merge onto I-105 W/OR-126 W toward Eugene for 1.3 miles. Take exit 2 Coburg Rd toward downtown Eugene. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Downtown Univ. of Org and merge onto Coburg Rd.After crossing the bridge, stay left and follow signs to University of Oregon, merging onto OR-126 BUS E/ OR-99 S/ Coburg Rd. Road turns into East Broadway/Franklin. Continue straight (East) for 1.1 miles.


From I-5 South (Medford, Roseburg) 
Take exit 191 (University of Oregon / Franklin Blvd) and merge ontoFranklin Blvd / OR-126-BR W. Continue West for about 1 mile.

From West (Florence) 
Follow OR-126 W into Eugene and merge right onto W 7th Ave and follow for 1.8 miles. Stay in the right two lanes, and take a slight right at Coburg Rd/State Hwy 99 S (signs for Franklin Blvd/State Hwy 126). Follow (East) for 1.3 miles.

From East (Bend / Santiam Pass)
Once into Springfield from the McKenzie Highway, continue onto OR-126 BUS W/Main St for 6.7 miles.

From East (Hwy 58 Oakridge, La Pine)
From Hwy 58 merge onto I-5 North. Take exit 191 (University of Oregon / Franklin Blvd) and merge onto Franklin Blvd / OR-126-BR W. Continue West for about 1 mile.

Matthew Knight Arena Parking Info

Bus Shuttles

  • Will bus shuttles be available for concerts and other events at Matthew Knight Arena?
  • Yes, park and ride shuttles will be available for most events.
  • Where are the bus shuttle pickup and drop-off locations?
  • At this time, locations are Autzen Stadium, Springfield Station and Downtown on East 10th between Willamette & Oak; parking available in the Overpark Garage.
  • What is the cost of riding the shuttle?
  • The cost of the shuttle is $4.00 per person. LTD bus passes are accepted as well.
  • How do I buy a shuttle pass?
  • Simply pay the $4.00 as you board the bus.
  • What are the shuttle hours of operation?
  • Shuttles begin 90 minutes before the event and leave 20 minutes after the event's completion.
EmX

  • The EmX runs right next to Matthew Knight Arena.  There is no special EmX service related to arena events.  Please contact LTD directly for more information at ltd.org or 541-687-5555.
ADA Parking

  • Where is ADA parking located?
  • Permanent ADA spots will be located on Columbia St. and inside the parking garage. Columbia Street, in front of the west arena doors, will be used as overflow parking.
  • How many ADA spaces are available?
  • There are at least 45 ADA spaces between permanent spaces at the arena and regular spaces that will be managed as ADA Spaces during arena events.
  • Are any spaces reserved or all they all first come, first served?
  • These spaces are first come first served with appropriate license plate or hang tag.
  • How much will it cost to park in an ADA space?
  • ADA parking will cost $10 per vehicle, same as all other arena parking.
Campus Parking Lots

  • What are the hours of operation for campus parking lots?
  • Those campus lots being used for arena events will be staffed 90 minutes before the event starts, 30 minutes before the arena doors open.
  • Can I pay at the parking lot entry as I arrive or is it possible to pay ahead of time to guarantee myself a space?
  • There are no reservations made in advance.  Parking in these spaces are first come, first served.
Neighborhood Parking

  • Can I park in the Fairmount Neighborhood for events?
  • No, parking in the Fairmount Neighborhood carries a two hour time limit.  Parking in the neighborhood longer than two hours will result in a fine.
  • What are the fines for tickets in the Fairmount Neighborhood?
  • Fines during arena events are $32 (twice the normal fines.  For more information, please visit www.eparkeugene.com.
  • If I live in the neighborhood, how do I get in and out during concerts or events?
  • If you live in the neighborhood, please have patience and understanding.  City of Eugene and Fairmont Neighborhood representatives have asked for restrictions that we will attempt to enforce, while being sensitive to needs of residents.
Garage Entry and Exit

  • Where is the entry point for the Arena garage?
  • All entry to the parking garage is via 13th Avenue and Columbia St.
  • Where do I exit the garage?
  • All arena garage patrons will exit through the loading dock onto Villard St.  Once all safety considerations have been evaluated, a second exit through Columbia St. may be possible.
  • What are the garage hours of operation?
  • The garage will open for parking 90 minutes prior to the event start time.  The garage will be posted in the morning of an event and post the time that people need to be out.
  • How will traffic flow upon exiting the garage? Where will I be sent upon exit?
  • After exiting onto Villard St., cars can turn north toward Franklin or right toward 15th Ave.  Cars turning south toward 15th will not be permitted to drive south of 15th Ave. into the Fairmont Neighborhood, and will be forced to turn east or west down 15th Ave.  For events without transit shuttles, exit the garage is the same as entry. Once back on 13th, left or right is possible at this time. NOTE: ALL TRANSPORTATION is somewhat fluid as we see behaviors, make adjustments all with SAFETY in mind.
Drop-offs and Pickups

  • I would like to drop off my mobility challenged spouse.  Where can I do so at the arena?
  • For all drop-offs a pick ups, due to safety reasons, patrons are encouraged to use the four way stops at Agate/13th and Agate/15th, or Villard St. near the South-East corner of Matt Arena.
  • I use RideSource.  Will this be in place for special arena events?  If so, how do drop-offs and pickups work?
  • LTD and Ridesource will be directed to use the Jaqua Academic Center parking lot for these customers.
Traffic Flow
  • Are there certain streets that will be blocked off during events?
  • 13th Avenue will be monitored for ADA needs and Parking Garage access.  Also, the west bound turn right lane from Franklin Blvd. onto 13th Ave. will be CLOSED when Transit Shuttles are operated.
  • When will street closures take place?
  • Street closures will likely begin two hours prior to the event’s start time and will work similarly to University Street closures for McArthur Court games.
  • Will the traffic flow differently before the game than afterwards?
  • Yes.  Traffic will be directed away from the Fairmont Neighborhood after events.
  • I live in the Fairmont Neighborhood.  How do I get into or out of the neighborhood during a special event?
  • We will do our best to work with Fairmont neighbors to make the neighborhood streets safe and accessible for residents.  Please have patience and understanding as we learn how best to manage the requirements and safety considerations from the City of Eugene.
