Country Thunder

Reba McEntire has been added to the lineup at Country Thunder USA in Waxahachie / Ennis, Texas on Saturday, May 26, 2007. The voice of Betsy the Cow, from the newly acclaimed movie release, Charlotte’s Web, will be performing at all three Country Thunder USA Festivals across the nation.

Reba and over 50 artists will perform on three stages at Thunder Ridge Ranch (located south of Dallas between Waxahachie and Ennis) May 24-27, 2007.

Other acts announced by the County Thunder officials include Chris Young and Stoney LaRue. These artists will join the previously announced artists, including the headliner George Strait, at Country Thunder USA in Texas. Over 15,000 campers and 100,000 attendees are expected to make Texas’ first Country Thunder USA event a very memorable one. The event will feature fun in every corner and great on-site activities such as “The Songwriters Campfire” (sit, sing, chime in with song writers from Texas and Nashville), the Graham Central Station Double Stage Saloon sponsored by Country Thunder USA (featuring performances from over 25 acts), 2 60′ tall bungee jumps, exquisite arts and crafts shopping village and country Kids-Ville kids activities.

A variety of seating and camping tickets are available, including general admission, reserved seating and VIP packages, the latter which includes an assigned seat up front for the shows and access to the exclusive VIP hospitality area where mouth-watering catered meals and free refreshing non-alcoholic beverages will be served throughout the day with a discount alcohol bar.

Country Thunder proudly presents the following acts to perform at this year’s Big Event, and many, many more to be announced.

Thursday, May 24: Harry Luge, Kevin Fowler, Phil Vassar, Gretchen Wilson, and Big & Rich

Friday, May 25: Steve Holy, Tick Pony, Chris Young, and Neal McCoy

Saturday, May 26: Heartland, Stoney LaRue, Reba McEntire, and Cross Canadian Ragweed

Sunday, May 27: George Strait and Harry Luge

Waxahachie / Ennis is one of three hot spots across the nation slated to host Country Thunder USA 2007. Florence, Arizona hosts The Big Event April 12-15, 2007 and in Wisconsin, Twin Lakes & Randall co-host The Big Event July 18-22, 2007. Tickets and camping passes for all three Country Thunders are on sale online or call the Country Thunder USA box office at (262)279-6960.
