“We noticed there was no central place where people could go to find stories behind the songs we all hear on the radio,” Giantslayer Label Head Rory Lee Feek said. “A few of them are published now and then for the really big hits, but overall, they’ve not been made available for radio and the general public to access. Being here in Nashville surrounded by hit writers everyday, we decided that a resource for this content was possible and that it needed to be created.”
“The response from the writers has just been tremendous,” Giantslayer Director of New Media & Marketing Jason Henke said. “They need to have a voice, and we’re trying to help provide that for them. We‚Äôre not only adding daily to the number of stories the site has; we’re also constantly adding to the different types of content we’re collecting and expanding opportunities for the dissemination of that information. In addition to launching the website, we have plans to expand to other media outlets and formats in the near future.”
