In a stunning display of Texas generosity and community strength, the “Band Together Texas” initiative, spearheaded by country superstars Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum, is officially moving into the distribution phase, sending more than $8.5 million in relief funds to communities devastated by the Central Texas floods earlier this year.
What started as a spirit-lifting benefit concert in Austin has transformed into a massive lifeline for families and communities across the Lone Star State.

Where the Money is Going
The $8.5 million+ raised is being channeled directly to local organizations with a focus on counties hit hardest by the devastating Fourth of July flooding.
- $8 Million will go to the Central Texas Community Foundation, which includes a significant $1 million allocation for the Concho County Community Foundation.
- Over $650,000 is slated for the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, with a specific portion designated for Habitat for Humanity’s crucial “Home for the Holidays” initiative.
Funds are prioritized for programs addressing housing, infrastructure, and overall community revitalization in Travis, Williamson, Burnet, Kerr, Concho, and Tom Green counties.
“These funds are more than numbers – they’re lifelines for families still recovering from this year’s floods,” shared Miranda Lambert. “We worked closely with state officials and local partners to identify where the need is greatest and ensure that every dollar supports meaningful recovery.”
Parker McCollum echoed the sentiment, noting the overwhelming support: “It has been amazing to see Texans, and even folks outside of Texas, come together in such a huge way. The money raised will go a long way in helping our home recover.”
An All-Star Night for Texas
The success of the massive fundraising effort is thanks to the incredible benefit concert that brought together an unrivaled roster of talent. The performance lineup, featuring the hosts along with other Lone Star favorites, was a night for the books:
- Performers: Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Ronnie Dunn, Dylan Gossett, Jack Ingram, Cody Johnson, Lyle Lovett, Lukas Nelson, Jon Randall, Randy Rogers, and honorary Texan Jason Aldean.
- Special Guests: Actors Matthew McConaughey and Dennis Quaid; football legends Mack Brown, Emmanuel Acho, Colt McCoy, and Vince Young; MLB star Roger Clemens; host Chris Harrison; and designer Kendra Scott.
The event was also strongly supported by generous partners, including the WoodNext Foundation, Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, H-E-B, Kendra Scott, Moody Center, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and Whataburger.
This incredible outpouring of support proves that when disaster strikes, Texans and their friends will always Band Together.
