Well, country fans, it looks like our concert calendars might have a few noticeable gaps next year. The folks over at The Boot have compiled a list of some major artists who are planning to take a breather from the relentless pace of touring in 2025, and we wanted to give you the lowdown from an ACountry perspective.

While the energy of a live show is what connects us all, it’s understandable that even our favorite artists need some time off to recharge, work on new music, or simply spend time with family. So, who might you not be seeing on a big stage near you in 2025?

According to The Boot’s report, names like Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, and Zach Bryan are among those who have either announced a break or whose touring schedules appear to be lighter for the upcoming year.

Of course over here we want your eyes on the dates that you can still catch George Strait – May 31, June 14, June 21 and July 19!

Now, while it might be a bummer if one of your must-see acts is on this list, let’s look at the bright side, ACountry fam! This pause often means artists are diving deep into the creative process, which could lead to some incredible new music hitting our speakers down the line. Fingers crossed there’s lots of new music on the other side of these breaks!

Plus, with some of the big names taking a step back, it opens up opportunities to discover even more incredible talent within the ACountry scene. 2025 could be the year you find your next favorite artist at a smaller venue or a rising star’s first major tour.

Of course, touring schedules can always change, and artists might pop up for select shows or festivals. So, keep your ears to the ground and your eyes on ACountry for all the latest concert news and updates. We’ll make sure you know when your favorites are hitting the road again and who the exciting new faces you need to see are.

While we might miss the energy of these particular artists on tour in 2025, we respect their need for a break and eagerly anticipate their return with fresh tunes and renewed energy. In the meantime, let’s continue to support the entire ACountry community and discover the amazing music that’s always out there!
