Gretchen Wilson : Stars To The Rescue Gretchen Wilson headlined Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation's (ARF) Stars to the Rescue at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis on January 15, 2006. Gretchen and her band performed a special acoustic set to close out a night of entertainment that included Grammy nominee and jazz trumpeting sensation Chris Botti, Journey's Jonathan Cain and Tony Orlando. A huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Gretchen was presented with her own #27 jersey by Cardinals manager Tony La Russa. Her rescue dog, Gibson, was also in attendance. Several Cardinals players, including David Eckstein and Jim Edmonds, attended the event to support ARF. You can help this wonderful cause by making an online donation.
