Julie Roberts : Men & Mascara World Premiere Video Julie Roberts' new video, Men & Mascara, will make it's world premiere Thursday, April 27, 2006 during CMT's Top 20 Countdown. Julie is scheduled to make a special appearance. The show airs at 2pm and 7 pm CT and will re-air Friday, April 28 at 11 am, Saturday, April 29 at 10 am, and Sunday, April 30 at 10 am. Credit the uniformly strong material, with not a throwaway among the eleven tracks, and four of the songs cowritten by Roberts. There's not a happy song among them, either, except for the nostalgic "Too Damn Young," about when love was fresh in a teenage way that it will never be again on the rest of the older-and-wiser material. The opening "Paint and Pillows" tells of a wife wronged by a cheating husband, and a hurt that can't be masked by window dressing.
