KILT Raises $263,587 for St. Jude

ACountry salutes Houston’s KILT as their KILT Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon raised $263,587 on December 17-18, 2009.  Thanks to the generosity of Houston country music fans for once again opening their hears and wallets for this worthy cause.  You can still become a partner in hope by making an online donation. 

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Founded by late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tenn., St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world.

Thousands of children have benefited from the cutting-edge research and treatment at St. Jude since its opening in 1962. As a Partner in Hope, you will join a select group of committed donors who pay for chemotherapy, radiation and surgeries that St. Jude patients desperately need.  Today, as always, no child admitted to St. Jude is ever turned away because of his or her family’s inability to pay for life-saving medical care.
