We here at ACountry loved hearing Annie Bosko at the recent Heartland event in Iowa that has everyone buzzing. She’s about to take us on a journey with her debut album, California Cowgirl, arriving on October 3. As a farmer’s daughter from the heart of California’s agricultural country, Bosko has always blended her West Coast roots with a classic country soul. This album is a full-circle moment, reflecting a life story that’s equal parts grit and golden-state glow.

“California Cowgirl is a colorful tapestry woven from the threads of my life—with a fabric for everyone,” shares Bosko. “From the grit of growing up a farmer’s daughter to the faith that’s kept me chasing my dreams, this album reveals both the tender and the tough sides of who I am.”

New Single “Honky Tonk Heartbeat” is a Touchdown

To celebrate the album announcement, Bosko has released a new studio version of a fan favorite, “Honky Tonk Heartbeat.” The song has been making waves as the anthem for Ariat’s “Line-Men Dancing” campaign, which features San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy leading a choreographed line dance with his linemen.

Written by Bosko specifically for the campaign, the song perfectly captures the energy of a country boy who knows how to work hard and play hard.

A Star-Studded Album

California Cowgirl is a true collaboration, featuring a mix of new releases and fan-favorite tracks. Bosko co-wrote over half the album, collaborating with an all-star list of songwriters and producers. The project also includes tracks penned by Lainey Wilson and Garth Brooks, and features collaborations with country icons like Dwight Yoakam and Joe Nichols.

In the midst of her album launch, Bosko is gearing up for some major shows, including supporting Dolly Parton for her live show in Las Vegas and Jessica Simpson in Waukegan, Illinois.

  • Sept. 12 — Wine & Country || Sam Simeon, CA
