The Honky Tonk Tailgate Party Tour returns with artists Daryle Singletary, Chad Brock, Rhett Akins, and David Kersh hitting the road in the RealTree Camouflaged tour bus for the 2005 season. This year marks the fifth year for the package tour, which began as a brainstorm from original touring artists Daryle Singletary and Rhett Akins. “I’m so excited about this tour and this particular group of entertainers. It’s a win-win situation for the fans because they get to see such a wide range of artists and hear a lot of great music, all in one rockin’ party of a show,” Singletary comments.
Joey Lee of Buddy Lee Attractions, the responsible agent for the tour believes that this year will be just as successful as 2004, if not more successful based on the establishment of the tour. “The Tailgate Party was a tremendously successful tour last year with both promoters and audiences. We saw a demand to bring it back this year and feel that the combination of Rhett, Chad, David, and Daryle will bring home a great tour.”
The tour already has a number of major markets set. Exact dates and venues will be announced within the next few weeks.
