Josh Turner : Your Man Certified Platinum

Josh Turner’s latest album, Your Man, has been certified platinum by the RIAA. The album debuted at #1 in January and is currently #7 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. This marks back to back platinum albums for Turner, continuing the success of his debut album, Long Black Train.

2006 has been full of milestones for Turner. He scored his first multi-week #1 radio hit with the title cut Your Man, landed a #1 album, was certified gold in 4 weeks and now platinum for the second time. “This achievement brings Josh one step closer to superstardom. Radio listeners agree. Their response to Your Man has made it clear that Josh Turner is their man. They’ve called stations across the country requesting his songs, making “Your Man” a #1 hit and helping “Would You Go With Me” to fly up the charts, climbing to #14 this week.

This week, Turner and his hero Randy Travis will take the stage to perform their biggest hits and favorite songs on CMT Cross Country. A new one hour performance series set to premiere Friday, August 11 at 10:00pm ET.
