Julie Roberts is one of the featured entertainers and all-star athletes featured in Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation’s (ARF) 2006 Celebrity Pet Calendar. 100% of donations raised from ARF’s 2006 Celebrity Pet Calendar will be donated to help save the abandoned and injured dogs and cats left orphaned as a result of Hurricane Katrina in the flood ravaged southern United States. 
This beautiful full-color calendar features Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Warren Sapp; sensation of the Indy Racing League, Danica Patrick; stars of ABC’s Desperate Housewives Nicollette Sheridan and Felicity Huffman; Academy and Emmy nominee William H. Macy; St. Louis Cardinals outfielder So Taguchi; comedienne Vicki Lawrence; Emmy nominee Charlotte Ross; country singer Julie Roberts, as well as actors Dean Cain, Hilary Duff, Vivica Fox, and Masiela Lusha.
Celebrities featured in the calendar appear at the request of Tony La Russa in support of building healthy relationships between people and animals. Tony La Russa, Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals and his wife Elaine co-founded ARF in 1990. In an effort to support ARF and keep “Incredible Dogs” healthy, Nestl’ Purina PetCare Company is once again sponsoring ARF’s calendar.

As an organization, ARF saves the lives of loving dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters. ARF gives another chance at life to dogs and cats who otherwise would have been killed. ARF provides the care and attention they need, including spay or neuter surgery, until ARF finds them a new home of their own.
