Pack the cooler and back the truck in. Zach Top is premiering Zach Top: Live From Red Rocks: The Concert Film on Sunday, November 1 at the Stardust Drive-In in Watertown, Tennessee, and he’s opening the night with an intimate acoustic set. Even better for everybody who can’t make it to Middle Tennessee, the whole thing doubles as Zach’s first-ever YouTube Live.
Old-school sound, old-school venue. Honestly, we can’t think of a more Zach Top way to do a movie premiere.

What’s in the Film
The concert film was shot across Zach’s two back-to-back sold-out nights at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on September 28 and 29, 2025, during his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour. It was his first time headlining the iconic venue, and he says he’s glad they decided to roll cameras.
“It’s so fun to have my memories from that night immortalized,” Zach said, adding that he’s excited to share that career highlight with fans who weren’t there in person.

Why This Is a Big Deal for Zach Top
It’s hard to overstate how fast Zach’s star has risen. In just a couple of years he’s gone from a breakout debut to one of the most decorated young artists in country music:
- 2025 ACM New Male Artist of the Year
- CMA New Artist of the Year at the 59th CMA Awards in November 2025
- His first GRAMMY in February 2026, winning Best Traditional Country Album for Ain’t In It For My Health. It was the very first year of the category, and he beat out a field that included Willie Nelson, Charley Crockett, Margo Price and Lukas Nelson
- His first No. 1 at country radio with “I Never Lie,” which just went 4x Platinum
Zach later admitted that winning a traditional country award with Willie Nelson in the category felt almost “sacrilegious,” which tells you everything about how much he respects the folks who came before him.
Our Take
Plenty of artists drop a concert film straight to streaming and call it a day. Zach is doing something smarter. A drive-in premiere turns a film release into a community event, the YouTube Live opens the door to fans everywhere, and the acoustic set gives both audiences something they can’t get on the film itself. It’s a traditional country artist using a very traditional American setting to reach a very modern audience.
It’s also good timing. With the 60th Annual CMA Awards right around the corner, Zach is putting his biggest live moment in front of as many people as possible right as the industry turns its attention to Nashville.
