Miranda Lambert has spent more than two decades cementing her place as country music royalty by always trusting her gut. Now, she’s ready to take us on her next musical chapter. Lambert has officially announced that her highly anticipated new album, Crisco, will arrive on October 2 via MCA.
Even better? We already have a brand-new taste of the record. Her latest single, “Till The Going’s Gone,” officially dropped this past Friday, June 26, and it’s the perfect preview of what’s to come.

“I’ve always loved every corner of country music,” Miranda shares. “The heartbreak songs, the honky-tonk songs, the songs that make you think and the songs that make you dance. Making this record reminded me that those things don’t have to be separated.”
What to Expect From Crisco
Produced by Lambert alongside Jesse Frasure, Crisco is a vibrant, 12-track collection that embraces every side of Miranda we’ve come to love: the storyteller, the troublemaker, the traditionalist, and the dreamer.
The album promises a little bit of everything from late-night dive bars to open desert highways. Here is a sneak peek at the track themes and titles to get excited about:
- The Dance Floor Grooves: The already-released title track, “Crisco,” nods to country music’s long history with the dance floor.
- Classic Miranda Wit & Wisdom: Tracks like “Whiskey Business,” “Cuttin’ Onions,” “Cowgirl Curtsy,” and “Two Things Can Be True” deliver her trademark blend of vulnerability and sharp lyricism.
- A Powerhouse Duet: Look out for a timeless collaboration with Chris Stapleton on a track titled “A Song To Sing.”
- A Nostalgic Cover: Miranda tackles Jim Croce’s classic, “I’ll Have To Say I Love You In A Song.”
To bring these stories to life, Miranda teamed up with her trusted inner circle of elite Nashville songwriters, including Natalie Hemby, Ashley Monroe, Waylon Payne, Aaron Raitiere, and Josh Osborne.
