David Nail’s Red Light video was filmed in Nashville and features his new bride Catherine. ‘Red Light’ was written by Jonathan Singleton, Melissa Peirce and Dennis Matkosk .
“This came to us after the record was done,” David says us of the song that almost didn’t make his album. “To be honest, I wasn’t real crazy about adding it, because any time you do a record you have to force yourself to close the book on it. Otherwise you’ll just keep going back and wanting to fix and add things. But after I listened to it I said, ‘I get it. Just tell me when and where we’re recording.’ And since we’ve been out on the road with it, introducing it to the world, it’s been great. I think it was something that we were missing on the record, and I’m glad we had the opportunity to add it.”
David Nail’s new album, I’m About To Come Alive, hits stores August 18, 2009.
