Taylor Swift : Back To December Video

Taylor Swift’s Back To December video, the second single from her album Speak Now, was directed by Yoann Lemoine, with portions filmed in Binghamton, New York, in MacArthur Park.  Written by Taylor Swift, Back To December laments the aftermath of a break-up between Swift and her boyfriend on a snowy morning.

“The song ‘Back to December’ is an apology in the form of a song,” Taylor stated during an NBC television special. “You know, in life, you learn lessons. And sometimes you learn them the hard way. Sometimes you learn them too late…. ‘Back to December’ is about a lesson I learned too late. And I think, when you do that, and you finally realize that you were wrong, you need to say you’re sorry. And this was the best way that I knew how.”
