Garth Brooks gave fans a live preview of his big concert to open the Houston Rodeo during a special #Studio G broadcast live from NRG Stadium on Facebook and SiriusXM’s The Garth Channel. The preview includes the new rodeo concert stage as well as a few special guests, including the astronauts from Garth’s Space Station chat.
The new rotating rodeo concert stage is star-shaped with five star points, each with an arm length of 36 feet and a base of 23 feet. Each star point can be raised individually or jointly and can be lowered to the arena surface or raised to create an elevated performance position. Garth will be the first artist to perform on the new stage.
Garth opens and closes the 2018 Houston Rodeo with performances on February 27 and March 18. Buy Houston Rodeo tickets and be there. Share your rodeo concert pics with us using hashtag #acountrymusic.
